Writer. Observer. Question-asker.

We believe in dialogue that creates change.

And every conversation begins with a voice.

Mine is called Saumya Prerna—a name that means gentle inspiration. It’s not just a pen name; it’s a promise. A promise to speak with empathy, to listen deeply, and to write truthfully. The Pulse is my way of responding to the world—with curiosity, clarity, and care.

How The Pulse Began

Ever since I was a child, I’ve found it hard to express myself. Emotions felt tangled, unspoken, and too heavy to hold. Writing became my quiet place—my way to make sense of what I felt, even when I couldn’t say it out loud.

As I grew older, I realized something:
I wasn’t the only one.

In the constant noise of social media and fast scrolling, I saw how many people were struggling with the same thing—feeling deeply, but unable to share it. Fear, sadness, identity, injustice, belonging... so much left unsaid.

That’s why I came back to this blog. Not just for me—but for all of us.

The Pulse was reborn as a platform. A place to reflect, to question, and to connect.
Because the world doesn’t need more noise. It needs spaces that feel human again.

What You’ll Find Here

At The Pulse, I write about:

  • Society, identity, and systemic realities

  • Every day experiences that carry emotional weight

  • Culture, silence, stigma, and personal insight

  • The kind of questions that don’t always have answers

Each post is grounded in awareness, with the hope that reflection leads to change.

The Name Behind the Words

Saumya means gentle, calm, and thoughtful.
Prerna means inspiration, the spark that starts a movement.

Together, they hold the spirit of The Pulse:
Not loud—but steady. Not flashy—but fearless.
Writing that nudges the mind and stirs the heart.

Thank you for reading, and for being here.
